MILWAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two Milwaukee County businesses are collecting items for people who may be affected by Hurricane Florence.
Jen's Sweet Treats in Cudahy and Hungry Man Moving in St. Francis are collecting bottled water, non-perishable foods, and pet and baby supplies.
They will load up a moving truck on Saturday, September 22 and drive it to Norfolk, Virginia.
"This one hits close to home because Jen's Sweet Treats does have customers in that area and also one of my former employees just recently moved to North Carolina so she is a little worried how the storm is going to affect her,' said Jennifer Clark, owner of Jen's Sweet Treats.
"It's just very humbling to see everybody's reaction. Everybody is so grateful for everything and anything we can bring," said Amanda Malka, owner of Hungry Man Moving.
Anyone who would like to donate can drop off supplies at eitehr business or at a kiosk at Magpie's Gourmet Dog Treats at Mayfair Mall.
