CALEDONIA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Caledonia Police are looking for the suspect who stole a loaded gun, purses, and money in a number of vehicle thefts in the area.
According to Caledonia Police, the thefts happened on the village's northeast side during the overnight hours of December 10 and December 11. Police say all the vehicles were unlocked at the time of the thefts.
Police were able to get surveillance video of a suspect trying to get into a vehicle in the area of 4 Mile Road and Erie Street around 1:30 a.m. on December 10. Because the vehicle was locked, the suspect was unable to get into it. Police have released the surveillance video of the suspect.
Caledonia Police are asking anyone who can identify the suspect, has information about these crimes or has an unreported theft from vehicle to call the Caledonia Police Department, Detective Bureau at 262-835-4423, Ext 178.
