Light Snow Tuesday Night

Thankfully the brutal cold has slid away from southeastern Wisconsin!  The clouds are rolling in out of the west this evening, and those clouds will eventually give way to light snow across our viewing area.

There's a disturbance to our south that will kick off the light snow showers after Midnight; however, the greatest lift will stay south across Illinois.  The computer models show the greatest snow chance hugging the border of Illinois and Wisconsin.  While the viewing area will see some light snow, the chance for accumulating snow will stay across Kenosha, Racine, and Walworth counties.

Up to a half an inch of light snow is possible in those areas.  Some flurries will continue into early Wednesday; however, temperatures should warm to around 20 for the afternoon.  It appears the arctic blast has retreated for now!
