Milwaukee (CBS 58)--The annual Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival kicks off at 6:30 at Pere Marquette Park with the flip of the switch. Santa will even be on hand for pictures after the lighting and other entertainment.
Expect to see a lot of colorful Yuletide decorations at Cathedral Square and Zeidler Park. This year’s theme is hopping into Christmas. It’s incorporating the new streetcar with all the festivities.
Beside the hop, you can see all the holiday lights scattered across the downtown area via the Jingle Bus. Also, keep in mind, Milwaukee’s official Christmas tree will be lit at 5:30 this evening at city hall.
