Lifeguards to end summer duty at Shorewood's Atwater Beach on August 16

SHOREWOOD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Sunday, Aug. 16, is the last day for lifeguards at Shorewood's Atwater Beach.

Officials are asking people to continue social distancing and wear a face mask when around others.

Only 300 people are allowed at the beach at one time.

There will be a staff member at the gate during peak hours to remind people of the rules.
