MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are educating community members on what's happening in the city.
At their monthly District Four Crime and Safety Meeting, officers didn't just review crime in Milwaukee instead they did something different on Tuesday.
A featured guest speaker from the Health Department went over lead concerns in the city's water.
Captain Andra Williams says the meetings are important to keep the entire community on the same page.
"Bringing the people that know and informing my community as far as okay this is the situation. Again, the more we're educated about whatever the topic is, the more we're educated the better we are able to deal with that problem," said Capt. Williams.
Williams says the hour-long meetings are also giving community members a chance to voice their concerns.
