Late-game collapse ruins Bucks opener in Charlotte

The Milwaukee Bucks lost to the Charlotte Hornets 108-106 in overtime at Time Warner Cable Arena.

After leading by as many as 24 points in the second half, the Bucks were unable to maintain their lead--giving up a game-tying three in regulation and a game-winning two-pointer by Hornets guard Kemba Walker.

Bucks guard Brandon Knight led the Bucks with 22 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists.

Jabari Parker, the Bucks rookie forward and number two overall draft pick, debuted with eight points and four rebounds in his first regular season NBA game.

The Bucks will host their home opener Friday against Philadelphia at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
