Lambeau Field in need of 700 people to shovel snow Sunday morning

GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- With the expected snowfall Saturday night into Sunday, Lambeau Field will be in need of snow removal the morning of Jan. 12.

The Packers are asking as many as 700 shovelers to assist starting at 6 a.m., ahead of the Packers-Seahawks game.

Those interested are asked to report to the Fleet Farm gate on Lambeau's west side, according to a press release, with temporary parking available in lot six. Vehicles must be removed from lot six when shoveling is complete.

All shovelers entering must use walk-through metal detectors when entering the building. No bags, backpacks or purses will be allowed inside.

Shovelers need to be at least 18 years old and will receive $12 per hour. The Packers will provide shovels to all who come to help.
