Lakefront Festival of Art Begins Today

The Milwaukee Art Museum will kick off its 54th Lakefront Festival of Art.

The museum is expecting thousands of guests to take in art from 180 artists from around the country. There will be a kids area with hands-on projects, a wine and beer garden, food from local vendors and 13 bands.

All of the money goes right back to the museum.

The festival kicks off at 10 this morning and runs through Sunday at 5. Kids 12 and under get in free.

Also, the festival is expecting to welcome its one millionth visitor! That person will get prizes and a lifetime pass to the festival.
