Lakefront Brewery previews 2023 Black Friday limited edition beers

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee's own Lakefront Brewery has brewed up anticipation with a sneak peek of their 2023 Black Friday limited edition beers.

According to the brewery, their fans traditionally start lining up as early as Thanksgiving Day for these coveted brews, which will be available the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, Nov. 24

This year's lineup includes the 2023 Black Friday Imperial Stout, aged in bourbon and brandy barrels, and the 2023 Black Friday Triple Black IPA, noted for its citrus and tropical fruit notes. The 2023 Black Friday Double Barrel-Aged Christmas Cookie Barleywine returns with its blend of honey, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon flavors. The 2023 Black Friday 5-Year-Old stout offers a unique taste with hints of vanilla, pecan praline and marzipan.

Lakefront will be offering these limited brews in unique 19.2oz cans. Each can is individually printed and boxed, with there being no purchase limit, allowing the cans to be purchased in any desired combination.

Customers who purchase a minimum of four Black Friday cans will receive a collectible, souvenir-dated Black Friday glass, available while supplies last.

Black Friday at Lakefront Brewery promises more than just beer, with food being available at 4:30 a.m. on Friday, along with merchandise and special beer service starting at 8 a.m. The brewery will also accept donations of new or gently used coats for the Warm Hearts Community Coat Drive, with those who donate receiving a 2022 Black Friday bottle.
