Lake Express Ferry Collecting Bicycles

Lake Express Ferry and the Milwaukee Bicycle Collective are teaming up on April 20 to raise awareness collect gently used bicycles.

Donors who bring a bike to the Lake Express terminal April 20 will receive a complimentary round-trip passenger ticket for travel on the Lake Express Ferry.

There will be a limit of one ticket per household.

“Now in its seventh year, this program continues to grow in popularity and we’re thrilled to be able to help provide bicycles that are put to good use throughout the region,” said Aaron Schultz, vice president of marketing of Lake Express.

To donate a bicycle to the Milwaukee Bike Collective in exchange for one round-trip ticket for the Lake Express Ferry, donors can bring their gently-used bicycles to the Lake Express Ferry terminal located at 2330 S. Lincoln Memorial Drive between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Thursday, April 20.
