Lady Bug Club suspension lifted, back open

MILWAUKEE-  New evidence has given the Lady Bug Club new life.

Then last month, the city pulled the club's license for 90 days.

But this week a judge decided that the city violated the club's due process when it refused to hear any appeals.

The club's attorney Michael Maistelman said, because of that, the court has ordered the city to allow the Lady bug Club to open, at least for the next several weeks.

He added that a number of lost e-mails were the evidence presented to give the club another shot.

Maistelman said the court is going to determine if the punishment dealt by the city was supported by the evidence that the licensing committee took.

The court will make a decision on Dec 16.
