Lacy, Adams upgraded on eve of Monday Night showdown

The Packers provided their fans with some very good news on the eve of the team's Monday Night football showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs; three injured players have been upgraded to probable.

Running back Eddie Lacy and wide receiver Davante Adams got the upgrades early Sunday afternoon. Both have shown progress during practice this week in Green Bay, and both will be ready to square off against a Chiefs team that's 3-0 lifetime against Green Bay at Lambeau Field. Fullback/special teamer Aaron Ripkowski was also upgraded to probable Sunday.

Not all the Packers injury status changes were positive, though. Morgan Burnett will not play tomorrow after being downgraded to out. Also, cornerback Sam Shields was added to the injury list Sunday with a calf injury. He is probable for the Monday Night matchup.
