La Masa Empanada Bar now open at Milwaukee Public Market
Milwaukee Public Market/La Masa MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- There's a new vendor at the Milwaukee Public Market.
La Masa Empanada Bar, located near the central staircase inside the market, offers an "Argentine-inspired dining experience," according to the market, with more than 20 varieties of empanadas cooked to order, available for takeout or dine-in.
“What I’m most excited for people to experience at our Milwaukee Public Market location is the environment we’ve created,” said Megan Todd of La Masa Empanada Bar. “It’s a fusion space where locals and visitors can meet for a little Latin inspiration with a Wisconsin twist."
They'll also offer signature cocktails, sangria on tap and to go, plus beer and classic cocktails.
“La Masa represents the kind of evolution we value at the Market,” said Paul Schwartz, executive director of the Milwaukee Public Market and Business Improvement District #2. “The impressively redesigned space, paired with a fresh and authentic menu, creates an experience that invites people to gather and enjoy something that accommodates a range of dining preferences.”
La Masa can be found next to Thief Wine and Freese's Candy Shoppe inside Milwaukee Public Market.
