Kohl's Coupon Circulating Facebook is Fake

(WSAW) Scammers are back at it again...

The too good to be true Kohl's coupon for $70 of an $80 purchase is fake. The coupon began circulating Facebook this week. Last year a similar coupon also made its way around the social media site.

The coupon sort of looks legit, and features the company logo and slogan, and a barcode. However experts say aside from the mega deal, the website kohls-promos.com is fake.

It's recommended you do not visit the site. Kohl's website is kohls.com.

The Better Business Bureau offered three tips to identify scams on Facebook:

Don't believe what you see. Scammers can make links look like they lead to legitimate websites and emails appear to come from a different sender.

Businesses do not ask for credit card numbers or banking information on customer surveys. If they do ask for personal information, like an address or email, be sure there's a link to their privacy policy.

Watch out for a reward that's too good to be true. Few businesses can afford to give away $50 gift cards for completing a few questions
