Khris Middleton receives December NBA Community Cares Award

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee Bucks player Khris Middleton received the December NBA Cares Community Assist Award.

According to the Bucks, the award recognizes an NBA player each month who “best reflects the passion the league and its players share for giving back to their communities”.

In December, Middleton helped families in Wisconsin, South Carolina and Louisiana celebrated the holidays through his “12 Days of Khristmas” initiative.

During that time, Middleton participated in 12 different acts of services. According to the Bucks, in Milwaukee, Middleton surprised single mothers with a spa day, provided a makeover to a Milwaukee classroom, gave gift bags to teachers and bought moving supplies for a small business.
