Keston Hiura placed on injured list

It’s an injury that could be a huge blow to the Brewers playoff chances. Keston Hiura has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a strained left hamstring injury.

Hiura exited Friday’s game against the Chicago Cubs in the 5th inning. Hiura grounded out to first and was seen pulling up lame to the base while reaching for his leg.

In corresponding moves, the Brewers have recalled outfielder, Bed Gamel and third baseman, Travis Shaw from Triple-A San Antonio. Pitcher Devin Williams has been optioned to San Antonio.
