Kenosha woman facing OWI charges after crashing into parked cars

MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Kenosha woman is facing OWI charges after police say she crashed her truck into unoccupied vehicles, causing one to crash into a light pole.

Officers were called to an accident in the 2000 and 2200 block of Clark Street after a truck had crashed into unoccupied parked cars. Due to the force of the impact of one of the collisions, the vehicle that was struck was pushed into a telephone pole and a tree.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Tammy Uttech, 57, from Kenosha.

Uttech's truck and the parked vehicle sustained severe damage.

Uttech was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

She faces charges of Operating While Intoxicated, Hit and Run, and additional traffic citations.
