Kenosha Police investigating death of 5-month-old

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) – Kenosha Police are investigating the death of a 5-month-old child.

Authorities say they were called to a home near 43rd St. and 19th Ave. around 9:17 a.m. on Friday for a report of an unresponsive child.

Lifesaving efforts were performed, but unsuccessful. Authorities say an autopsy will be conducted by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The identifies of those involved are not being released at this time. An investigation is ongoing.
