Kenosha man, 18, could face charges in shooting that injured his 3-year-old sister
KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An 18-year-old Kenosha man may face criminal charges in connection with a shooting that left his 3-year-old sister injured.
Police say charges were referred to the Kenosha County District Attorney's Office against 18-year-old Christian Koleske.
The shooting happened May 12, near 29th Avenue and 51st Street.
CBS 58 spoke with the child's mother, who said she received a call while at work, letting her know that her daughter, Iyana, had been struck in the thigh while being babysat by her 18-year-old brother.
A charge of child neglect was also referred against Dynasty Cooper, a 19-year-old Kenosha woman who police say was also present during the shooting.
According to police, the gun involved in this shooting incident "mysteriously disappeared" before police were notified of the shooting.
