Kenosha County Sheriff's Office Trying to Identify Remains

Kenosha County officials are looking for help as they try to unlock a mystery.

Last December, human remains washed up on the Lake Michigan shore in Kenosha and after almost three months, officials still haven't been able to identify the body.

They held a news conference today to update the investigation.

They said parts of the body, including the head, were missing.

They don't know how old the person was, whether it was a man or a woman or how the person died.

They did find articles with the body, like a key to a 1980s or 90s vintage Cadillac.

A keychain suggested that the person shopped at a Thornton's discount store in Waukegan 3 to 5 years ago.

They found a Reebok sweatshirt, size 3XL.

If you have any information that might help identify the body, please call Kenosha County officials.
