Kenosha: 72-year-old man arrested after stabbing woman near 61st Street and 24th Avenue

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) --- Kenosha police say a 72-year-old man was arrested after stabbing a woman near 61st Street and 24th Avenue Saturday, Feb. 13.

Police say it happened four minutes after midnight Saturday.

A 22-year-old woman was found on scene suffering from stab wounds. She was transported to a hospital and is undergoing surgery for what is described as non-life threatening injuries.

Kenosha police say the man was arrested for the stabbing and remains in police custody.

The investigation remains active.

There is no threat to the community regarding the incident.
