K-Rod's saves streak ends in Brewers loss to Reds

Milwaukee -

Francisco Rodriguez failed to convert a save opportunity for the first time since last August as the Brewers lost 12-9 to the Reds Saturday at Miller Park.

Rodriguez entered the game with a 9-8 lead in the ninth inning, but gave up a two run homer to Joey Votto and then two more runs before the ninth inning ended. The Brewers had rallied from a 6-1 deficit and had taken the lead in the fifth inning on Scooter Gennett's triple and Jonathan Lucroy's sacrifice fly. Gennett finished the night with four hits, three runs scored and three runs batted in. Jean Segura added three hits.

The Brewers and Reds finish their three game series Sunday afternoon at 1:10. You can watch that game in Spanish on Telemundo Wisconsin.
