K-9 "Wix" dies in back of squad car

A K-9 Brown County Sheriff's Office died in the back of a squad car in Kohler, according to WFRV.
The dog was dispatched to help with security at Whistling Straits during the 2015 PGA Championship.
Officials say Wix was placed in the squad car with air conditioning on but it was not functioning properly.
Wix was a 3 year-old male Malinois.
