Just Chillin' Today

If you think it's cooler today, it is.  Temperatures will struggle to get to 70 degrees,  In fact most of us will stay in the 60s.  This time of the year we should be around 80.  Obviously, a cool, dry air mass is keeping us below normal. And tonight, with clear skies in place, we'll drop into the 40s to low 50s.  The record low for Milwaukee on June 29th is 46 set back in 1943.  I don't think it'll be this cool, at least in town.

But you know this time of the year, it doesn't take much for temperatures to warm.  In fact, we'll be back to more seasonable levels as soon as Wednesday as winds swing to the south.  So, temperatures will be exactly where they should for the start of Summerfest. And as we get into the holiday weekend, we're looking at highs 75-80.

We do have one rain chance this week.  It's on Thursday, mainly later in the day and evening hours.  We'll see scattered showers and storms. Before Thursday, make sure your CBS58 app is downloaded, so you know where it's storming when you go to Summerfest.
