Just Between Friends Consignment - Milwaukee County

Just Between Friends (JBF) has announced a fall community children’s and maternity consignment event in Milwaukee County. The sale will be held Sept. 21–27, at the Wisconsin Exposition Center at Wisconsin State Fair Park, 8200 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis. There will also be a Washington County sale held Oct. 1–5, at the Washington County Fairgrounds, 3000 Pleasant Valley Rd., West Bend.

The Milwaukee County event will be open to the public 10 am–7 pm, Sun., Sept. 21 through Tues., Sept. 23; 10 am–6 pm on Wed., Sept. 24; 10 am–5 pm on Thurs., Sept. 25; 10 am–7 pm on Fri., Sept. 26; and 10 am–1 pm on Sat., Sept. 27. On the first day of the sale, admission is $3; all other days have free admission.

JBF events offer gently used and new children’s clothing in sizes 0–18, maternity clothes in sizes XS–plus, shoes in sizes infant to 6, as well as toys, board and electronic games, DVDs, and books. All clothing items and shoes are inspected before the event for current fashion, stains, and tears. Items will be organized like a children’s store, where everything is divided by gender, size, and category. Each event features new and different items. The fall sales will feature fall and winter clothing items, along with toys, games, books, shoes, strollers, sleds, winter boots, and more.

“The JBF fall sales are a great opportunity to purchase back-to-school wardrobes at reasonable prices for each child,” said Melissa Monsoor, co-organizer of the Milwaukee County sale. “It’s also an opportunity for families to sell their used items in a carefully managed atmosphere. Whether you’re buying or selling, JBF sales are the best way for families to get what they need.”

JBF team members staff each sale and earn various benefits for helping at the sales. To learn more about opportunities and the rewards of joining the team for each individual sale, visit jbfsale.com. Consignors utilize an exclusive, free barcode tagging system to tag items and track daily sales. Remaining fashionable and desirable items are then donated on behalf of JBF and the consignors to organizations, including the Salvation Army, for area families in need.

Just Between Friends serves more than 260,000 American families in 28 states and provides an opportunity for families to recycle their kids’ clothing and toys. Wisconsin currently offers five independently operated JBF sales events, and there are 138 franchisees in 28 states and one in Canada. The Salvation Army is an international movement located in over 100 countries around the world. It has been serving communities in the Greater Milwaukee area for over 100 years.
