Jordy Nelson activated after passing physical, off PUP list

Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson has passed his physical and is off the physically unable to perform list according to multiple reports, meaning he is free to practice and play.

Nelson has not played since injuring his right ACL in last year's preseason. He also suffered a left knee injury during this year's offseason, delaying his comeback with the team.

In 2014, Nelson led the Packers with 98 catches, 1,519 yards receiving and 13 touchdown catches.

It isn't believed Nelson will play in the preseason, including the Packers next game against Oakland Thursday, August 17th. That game will be on WMLW "The M" at 7:00.
