JJ Watt Foundation awards Milwaukee middle school funds for new sports equipment

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The JJ Watt Foundation announced Thursday, Jan. 2, they've awarded Milwaukee's Andrew S. Douglas Middle School with more than $2,500 for new sports equipment.

Andrew S. Douglas Middle School serves students on Milwaukee's northwest side.

The foundation said the funds will go toward new basketball, volleyball and cheer uniforms.

The JJ Watt Foundation was created by Pewaukee native and NFL star JJ Watt. Its mission is to provide funding for middle school athletic programs and teaching kids to "Dream Big Work Hard."
