Jackson's jumper gives UW upset and signature win

MADISON - Traveon Jackson calmly dribbled, set himself, and buried a jumper with two seconds to play to give Wisconsin a 60-58 upset win over #9 Michigan State Sunday afternoon at the Kohl Center.

Jackson's shot came just moments after Michigan State's Adreian Payne hit a three-pointer to tie the game at 58. Payne finished with 24 points, a game-high.

Nigel Hayes' 14 led the Badgers, while Sam Dekker and Josh Gasser put in 11 points each.

The Badgers are now 19-5, 6-5 in Big Ten games with the win, their second straight victory after a tough stretch that saw Wisconsin lose five out of six.
