WEST BEND, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Jackson man was arrested for OWI after crashing into a vehicle in a roundabout.

West Bend Police were called to an accident with injuries near River and Paradise around 10:35 a.m. on December 27.

Upon arrival, they learned a vehicle had entered the roundabout on Paradise Drive and struck a vehicle that was already proceeding through the roundabout.

The driver of the striking vehicle, a 26-year-old Jackson man, was arrested for OWI 2nd Offense Causing Injury, Open Intoxicants in a Vehicle, and Failure to Yield Right of Way.

The female driver of the other vehicle and her 2-year-old child were taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
