MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Protesters have been filling Milwaukee streets for more than a month demanding that local police acknowledge and address systemic racism among officers. It's a movement that's taken on a life of its own impacting law enforcement agencies across the country including those in Wisconsin.

The protests have put Milwaukee County Sheriff Earnell Lucas in a precarious situation.

On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Amanda Porterfield sat down with Sheriff Lucas for his perspective on the death of George Floyd and calls to reduce funding for police departments in Milwaukee and nationwide.
