Irish Dance Workshop

Tuition: $5 or 2 can-goods (non-perishable items) per student
Ages: 5-15 at 5:00-6:30 pm, 16+ at 7:00-8:30 pm

Location: Schauer Center, Theater

Youth: Learn basic Irish dance steps focusing primarily on the Jig, Reel, and an Irish Ceili. Learn proper form and technique for these historical steps set to traditional Irish music. Irish dance builds up flexibility and balance as best seen on the international Riverdance shows. Current students are welcome to attend and bring a friend to try it as well. No experience required.
Adults: Learn basic Irish dance steps focusing primarily on the Jig and Reel. Introduction to the Irish Ceilis will also be included. Enjoy this recreational form of Irish dance and get some exercise as a bonus! No experience required.
