Irish breakfast raises money for Pilot Club and Special Olympics

MILWAUKEE-Members of the Pilot Club served an authentic Irish breakfast Saturday before the annual downtown parade.

Coordinator Kim Nowak of the Shamrock Club of Wisconsin tells CBS 58 news that the money raised will help support local groups, including Special Olympics.

The breakfast was held on the second floor of the Irish Cultural Heritage Center on Wisconsin near 21st Street.

The room filled up quickly as Irish Americans and lovers of all things Irish enjoyed eggs, sausage, fried tomato, baked beans, and Irish brown and soda bread.
