Illinois woman killed, five injured in Kenosha County motorcycle crash

KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) – An Illinois woman is dead after a motorcycle crash caused a domino effect among a group of riders Saturday evening.

According to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, a group of motorcyclists from Illinois were traveling southbound on Highway W near the Town of Randall around 6:30 p.m. Saturday when the lead operator lost control of his motorcycle along a curve. This motorcycle slid into another motorcycle that had a driver and a passenger, creating a domino effect. A third motorcycle then also crashed.

The passenger suffered serious injuries and a Flight for Life helicopter was called. The passenger was later pronounced dead at the scene and was not taken by Flight for Life. The Sheriff’s Office has identified the woman as 47-year-old Lisa Fagan of Illinois.

Five others were injured in the crash and the road was closed while authorities investigated.

It’s believed speed may have been a factor in the crash.
