MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Warmer weather means time for ice cream.
Milwaukee Public School students stopped by Purple Door Ice Cream in Walker’s Point to get a scoop of their own ice cream.
The students are from James Madison High School and won an ice cream making contest back in March.
Their winning flavor was maple syrup ice cream with banana, peanut butter, and chocolate.
Purple Door re-created the ice cream so customers could try it.
“I still haven’t tasted their version of it. I remember tasting ours and it was really good, so I hope theirs would be too,” said James Madison High School junior Trevion Schave.
The ice cream flavor is only available for a limited time at Purple Door Ice Cream.
