Ice bar coming to BelAir in Brookfield
BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- BelAir Cantina at the Corners of Brookfield is debuting a 19-foot "ice bar."
The ice bar -- located in Market Square -- will be constructed in the coming weeks. BelAir says Partner Art Below Zero will use 10,000 pounds of ice to construct the bar, as well as various ice sculpted photo frames, including those for couples, groups and even pets. Additionally, a 6 ft x 7 ft acrylic etched wall with colored LED lights will illuminate Market Square. The ice bar will also be adorned with a giant, custom carved ice bull, representing BelAir Cantina’s insignia.
Chill out at the bar and enjoy specialty cocktails, including the Iceberg and the Icicle, as well as liquors served in solid ice shot glasses.
BelAir says other cozy outdoor, heated seated is available.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with BelAir Cantina on The Corners’ first-ever ice bar. This is yet another way for our community to feel comfortable gathering with family and friends, while having fun and enjoying the outdoors,” said Chelsea Roessler, director of marketing and events at The Corners of Brookfield. “We’re inviting everyone to bundle up and come chill out with us.”
The ice bar opens to the public Friday, Jan. 22 from 4 to 8 p.m.
The duration of the ice bar experience will be up to Mother Nature, but organizers expect it to last a few weeks. Dates and hours of operation will include varying afternoons and evenings, and all are listed on the Center’s website here.
