'I won't tell no one your name': Goo Goo Dolls named Summerfest headliner at BMO Pavilion

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Grammy-nominated rockers the Goo Goo Dolls will perform at the BMO Pavilion with Miller Lite during Summerfest, bringing a catalog that spans decades to the stage in Milwaukee. The concert is set for Saturday, June 22.

Throughout their career starting with the band's foundation in 1986, the Goo Goo Dolls have produced hits such as “Iris,” “Slide” and “Name,” maintaining years of a constant presence in rock radio.

The group has earned four Grammy nominations and multiple platinum and gold singles. Their record sales worldwide total over 15 million, highlighted by the success of 1995's A Boy Named Goo and the 5x Platinum selling Dizzy Up the Girl from 1998.

Tickets sales will begin Friday, Feb. 23, at 10 a.m. by visiting Summerfest.com, Ticketmaster.com as well as the Summerfest Box Office, with tickets also granting access to Summerfest on the day of the performance.
