I-794/Hoan Bridge Construction Project Entering Homestretch

Starting Friday morning, the Jackson Street temporary entrance ramp to I-794 West will be closed at least a week. But at the same time, the I-794 West exit to Milwaukee Street will be reopened after a year and a half closure.  Also keep in mind both I-794 east and westbound traffic will be traveling on their respective new roadways from the Marquette Interchange to the Lake Interchange.

Lane and ramp restrictions will remain in place until mid September.  Then all the Jackson Street ramps will be reopened in their permanent configurations.

WisDOT reminds everyone to slow down and watch the speeds.  Also, starting Friday afternoon and running through Labor Day, all construction projects in the state will stop.
