MCSO investigating report of shots fired on I-43 at Marquette Interchange

UPDATE: MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's office says they are still continuing to investigate a report of a shooting on I-43 southbound, south of the Marquette Interchange.
The Sheriff's Office says the report came in around 12:30 Monday afternoon and the freeway was shut down for about three hours while deputies looked for evidence. No injuries have been reported.

UPDATE: MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office confirms they are investigating reports of shots fired on I-43 SB.
There is a freeway closure from Marquette Interchange to Mitchell Street.

According to the DOT, the ramp from I-794 WB to I-43 SB/I-94 EB (E-S) is also closed now in the Marquette Interchange.
The incident happened around 1:40 p.m. on Monday.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is handling the investigation.
