Hunger Task Force Puts Together Easter Baskets for Families

The Hunger Task Force is making sure families have enough food to celebrate the Easter holiday.

1,500 families got baskets filled with a week's worth of food including fresh ham, fresh vegetables and pizza.

The organization paired with Palermo's Pizza for this event.  

\"The reason we have 56 pounds of food in the boxes is because people were generous and responded, it makes a big difference in the community because people need the food and we're so thankful for the help,\" says Director of the Hunger Task Force Sherrie Tussler.

150 volunteers helped pack baskets. This event also celebrated the 10th anniversary of Palermo’s Pizza.
