MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The Hunger Task Force (HTF) is kicking off its $3.4 million capital campaign for its new headquarters on Monday, April 26.
According to a press release, the campaign funds will help turn HTF's new warehouse in West Milwaukee into a food bank with freezer and cooler space.
Hunger Task Force bought the 12,000 square foot warehouse in December 2020 due to a growing need, in large part because the pandemic.
The campaign, Building Our Strength to Serve, aims to bring together local businesses, corporations and individual contributions to raise the money by January 2020.
