MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- First responders always appreciate a "thank you" for the work they do. But a "thank you" with cream puffs -- now we're talking!
On Friday, Dec. 10, the Wisconsin State Fair Park Foundation surprised first responders in Waukesha with about 300 holiday cream puffs. That included the fire department, police department, and the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department.
It was a nice gesture for a community that's been through so much these past few weeks.
"Certainly Waukesha County has been through so much and we just wanted to do whatever we could just to put a little smile on the faces of first responders in Waukesha County," said Anna Zeck, with the Wisconsin State Fair Park Foundation.
The special holiday cream puffs include candy cane and cocoa flavors, and you can get your hands on them too. Stop by the Holiday Cream Puff Drive-Thru happening this weekend at State Fair Park.
