MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Humane Animal Welfare Society is hosting the "Romp N Rally" event on Saturday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sussex Village Park.
Dogs are welcome on a 6 - 8-foot leash. Activities include a lure course, dog day, teach-a-trick, raffle, vendors, DIY enrichment toys, "canine van Gogh" painting, paw print ornaments, pup pizza making and bandana decorating.
Beverages and food trucks will also be available.
We were joined by Devon Kirkpatrick, Mackenzie Fink and Kendall Sypult of HAWS on Wednesday, April 26 to discuss more details. They also brought two adoptable dogs!
