Human trafficking training program to be held in Milwaukee for foreign prosecutors

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A human trafficking prosecution training program will be held in Milwaukee September 10-11 with foreign dignitaries.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, members of the United States Attorney’s Office, Homeland Security and the FBI will be working with officers from Malaysia, Thailand and Cambodia.

The training will address the best practices for prosecuting human trafficking crimes, ways to assist crime victims and the importance of partnering with other agencies.

The training is being held at the Federal Courthouse.
