MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Fat Tuesday is Feb. 16, and in New Orleans, normally more than one million revelers would pack the streets.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, all the Mardi Gras parades are canceled.
But, that doesn't stop the holiday from being celebrated! However, this time, it is in a unique way and on a smaller scale.
New Orleans spokesperson Kelly Schulz joined CBS 58 Morning News virtually on top of a Mardi Gras float to share how the city is keeping the party going... in a safe way, of course.
