House fire on Milwaukee’s south side

MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Fire Department responded to a house fire at S 23^rd and W Orchard Streets around 6 o’clock Saturday morning.   The fire was reported on the second floor of the 2 ½ story wood frame house.   The small fire was quickly extinguished and no one was injured.  The Red Cross has been called to assist the residents of the home.   At this time there is no estimate of the dollar amount of damage and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
