Hotel in Cedarburg Makes Top 25 Traveler’s Choice Hotels for Romance

TripAdvisor released the winning hotels of its Travelers’ Choice Hotels awards for Romance and one is located right here in Wisconsin.

The Washington House Inn. in Cedarburg, WI took 24th place. The winners were determined by input from travelers. In total, 7,612 hotels made the list.

According to the Washington House Inn website, the inn was founded in 1846 by Conrad Horneffer and functioned as hotel until the 1920’s. The Washington House Inn was then converted for other uses such as a meeting place for the Knights of Columbus. It reopened in 1984 as an inn again to the public.

Belamere Suites in Perrysburg, OH took first place.

The travel site has more than 435 opinions and reaches 390 average monthly visitors.
