Hotel and office development proposed for downtown West Bend

WEST BEND, Wis. (CBS 58) –A hotel and office development is proposed for downtown West Bend.

City officials say the proposal is for a portion of the eight-acre former Gehl site near Water St. and Forest Ave.

The city has an agreement with RafRad LLC and Kinseth Hospitality for the development.

In a press release, a statement from City Administrator Jay Shambeau said, “We have many great initiatives happening in our downtown. Combine those with the positive citywide business and residential energy, there is no question why this makes a lot of sense.”

Updates on the development will be available on the City of West Bend Facebook page.
