Hot again next week

A large ridge will build in for most of the country next week sending the temperatures again above normal. This time of year, the average is around 80 degrees and we should be above that all next week. The temperatures have a chance to make it into the upper 80s and low 90s early next week.

We just missed out on 90 yesterday in Milwaukee, but we are still at 7 days for days in the 90s for the season, two away from the norm for the whole season. Let’s see how many we can wring out the next week.

With this large area of high pressure, storm chances are looking small for most of next week. The weekend, including today, will be dry and very sunny. The next real threat of storms might hold off until Thursday night and Friday of next week. The last ten days, we have had just a shade under 0.25” of rainfall. The next ten days could be very dry!
