Horror website responds to Waukesha stabbing case

Waukesha-- In a lengthy statement on the Waukesha stabbings, the administrator of Creepypasta.com extended condolences to all the families involved saying \"I cannot even imagine how painful and confusing and awful this has to be for them.\"

The statement says while the site will take a break from posting stories for awhile, there are no plans to shut it down because \"we as a community aren't to blame here.\"

It includes a message to parents that says \"If your child has issues with violent or destructive or depressive issues, it's really important to make sure that they're not interacting with things that will exacerbate that.\"

In a separate blog post titled \"Fiction, Reality and You,\" a Creepypasta Wiki administrator writes \"Wiki does not endorse or advocate for killing, worship, and otherwise replication of rituals of fictional works.  There is a line between fiction and reality, and it is up to you to realize where the line is.  We are a literature site, not a crazy satanic cult.\"
